I often purchase this item from a local store and love it. When I saw the ad for this item on Amazon I thought it was a terrific deal. The way the seller has written the description it makes it look as if you are to receive two 12 count boxes. I have contacted the company and all they said was sorry. I ended up spending way more then I normally would. If you can’t buy it at a local store go ahead, but it is only one box and is not a deal.
I really love Clif bars in general, and this is my favorite flavor. They are just delicious and remind me of the days when I used to eat Reese’s Cups – except I like the Clif bars much better. I eat one for lunch when I’m working along with a banana, and it’s plenty of food to keep me until dinnertime. Delicious and nutritious!
These bars taste fine, and serve a purpose for me. They fill me up and are relatively nutritious. I will buy them again. The only real negative thing about them is their looks.
I read the earlier review that which ever company previously fullfilled this order only sent you 1 box of 12. That is no longer the case. This product is now fullfilled by Amazon and they are shipping 2 boxes of 12 for 24 total bars. As with all my recent dealings with Amazon, everything (shipping, packaging, etc) were great. If you like this flavor this is a great deal on these Clif Bars.
I prefer the fruity flavors but I got this in a multi box. I don’t buy Clif Bars on Amazon.com anymore because the price has skyrocketed and I can get them cheaper at places like Sam’s Club. Unfortunately in the box I received the chips were completely melted. But it’s an okay flavor, not much flavor but it’s filling, sweet and much better for you than eating snacks with high fat, low health factors and lots of preservatives. The cherry almond ones are absolutely wonderful, in my opinion. Just not at these prices….
To the person who posted a couple above mine who said they received only one box…it IS advertised as “2″ boxes..you were ripped off. The price of one box runs online about $14-$15 on many sites.
