The item itself is great but I would suggest ordering from fitrx or muscledepot instead. On the original order I received the item with the entire label missing so I sent it back requesting they send the item in it’s correct packaging. The replacement was received with the label but the “best if used by” date looks as if it has been mysteriously erased.
Well creatine is creatine.. except this one theoretically helps shuttle more creatine into your muscles with the carb rush (insulin).. sounds great.. it does make you bulkier quick, so you better want to be bulky if you take this.. and you do feel about a 5 to 10% increase in energy when working out I’d say.. its good, it sounds good, mostly its the placebo effect I think when it comes to the energy.. so its a neutral to good supplement, but I don’t see why you shouldn’t buy it…
Phosphagen HP is a very good choice if you are searching for a creatine based product.
I’ve used generic type micronized creatine as well as several other brand names. It’s easy to get ripped off buying into all the marketing about creatine products having “something extra”.
Sometimes there is a better formulation, but in my opinion they haven’t improved too much over some of the original creatine formulas such as Phosphagen HP.
If you are looking for a quality product for a reasonable price, this one is a very good choice.
I always buy Phosphagen HP because it works, and it is ready to mix with water. Call me lazy, but I don’t always have the proper fruit juice in my house (citrus juices will not work well) to mix with creatine. Phosphagen solves this problem, since it comes in ready to mix flavors that taste good. Additionally, I don’t get the”runs” with this brand – I’ve gotten them before with other brands, especially during the loading phase. The cost is very reasonable too.
In the past, i have taken a few brands of creatine, having celltech the best performer, until i took phosphagen. I have not been in the gym regularly for about 5 years, and needed a boost to help me stick with the new program i started in mid december. I’m recovering fast after workouts, increasing weight quickly, and the creatine is doing much better than i thought. I loaded 3 days at 15-20, and maintain on avg about 8gm a day. On nonworkout days i take 5gm. Many have talked about weight gain during creatine phases, but if you cut calories in other areas (ie snacking, social eating, coffee, eating lighter meals, etc), you wont have that problem. I’ve lost a few pounds since being on it and gained muscle. It mixes real easy too, no blender necessary.
